About me

I qualified at IATE, the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, with an MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy, after completion of a 4-year training programme. I carried out my clinical training across the NHS, higher education, and the voluntary sector.

My profile as a psychotherapist builds on my academic research experience and longstanding research interests in qualitative, participatory, visual, and creative, arts-based methodologies. My PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Cambridge proposed a creative approach for the study of identities. In my therapeutic practice I draw on the arts as a creative resource to promote wellbeing and facilitate new insights.

I am registered with the following regulatory bodies:

  • UKCP, the UK Council for Psychotherapy, currently working for full clinical registration.
  • HCPC, the Health and Care Professions Council.

I abide by the UKCP code of ethics and professional practice.

I am committed to an inclusive and anti-oppressive therapeutic practice that values diversity and critical reflection, with sensitivity for the richness of human experience.
